This is the webpage of Francisco Álvaro, former member of the Pattern Recognition and Human Language Technologies (PRHLT) research center at Universitat Politècnica de València where I developed my PhD focused on mathematical expression recognition. Currently I work at WIRIS math developing solutions for mathematics education. My research interests lie in the area of statistical pattern recognition and their applications to handwriting recognition.
